Depop Trend Report Event 26
Context
Depop Editions: Trend Report 2026 marked an important moment for Depop to bring its future facing trend thinking into the real world. Rather than publishing the report as a static piece of content, the ambition was to create a physical experience that felt true to the platform’s community led culture and gave invited guests a tangible, memorable way to engage with the trends shaping the year ahead.
The challenge was to translate digital trend insight into something intimate, social and participatory, without it feeling like a traditional brand launch.

Connection
We brought the Trend Report to life through an intimate cocktail gathering at Casino in Lower Manhattan, transforming the venue’s signature red interior into a fully branded Depop moment.
The space was built around four vignette displays, each representing a key 2026 trend. Pinned looks, styling details and mini Trend Report booklets encouraged guests to explore the trends at their own pace and take something away with them.
Interaction was designed into the experience. Guests voted for their favourite trend using tokens and added their photobooth strips directly to the corresponding vignette, turning the space into a living, evolving reflection of audience taste.
Cocktails and bites were inspired by the trend themes themselves, with subtle Depop details woven throughout the environment to create a cohesive, considered experience from arrival to departure.

Impact
The event successfully transformed a trend report into a shared cultural moment, encouraging guests to engage, react and contribute rather than simply observe.
By blending physical design, social interaction and product storytelling, Depop was able to spark conversation around its 2026 trends in a way that felt authentic, personal and community driven. Guests left not only with a clearer understanding of the trends, but with tangible takeaways including mini cakes and shopping vouchers that extended the experience beyond the event and into future exploration on the platform.
